Steve,
Make sure that you have my latest plugins for Snow Leopard which are available on the Front Row Plugins page. The original plugins don't work in Snow Leopard.

Neither the Plex nor the Boxee plugins are working for me in Snow Leopard 10.6.2. For what it's worth, both plugins have the icon of a Microsoft plugin while the rest of the stuff in the plugin folder appear as folders.

Seems to be working better - no "Unable to Launch Plex" errors since your update - will let you know soon how it goes with repeated use...

@Antoine
Thanks for letting me know. I have a copy of Snow Leopard. I'll see if I can get it to work.

@Cooper
I updated the plugin to have a longer timeout. Download and install again and see if that makes a difference. Also make sure you run the 'killall Front\ Row' command after you reinstall.

Same issue here with the latest Plex update and the frequent (always?) appearance of the dreaded "Unable to Launch Plex" error.

Note that I'd periodically get this error before the latest Plex update, but now I get it always, or at least almost always.

I think it may be related to a too-quick timeout - typically when I get this error I need to quit or force quit to get back to the Finder, where I typically discover that Plex has indeed launched. The error usually comes up quite quickly (after 2-3 seconds?) which makes me think that this plugin is simply not waiting long enough for Plex to launch.

Please please please can we have an update? If you add a "Donations Accepted" button here I'd be happy to send you a few bucks - your plugins have made the Mac Mini HTPC MUCH more acceptable to my wife : )

Hi,
Good job but it doesn't work with Snow Leopard.
I hope it will be when you can upgrade your OS.

See ya

I just tried the latest Plex update and it worked fine for me. Make sure that Plex is located in the system Applications folder (/Applications) otherwise the plugin won't find it.

I keep getting an error now when launching Plex, saying "Unable To Launch Plex"... any ideas? It seems to have started with the last Plex update. I just installed the Hulu plug-in and it works great... any ideas? Thanks!
