I have a copy of Snow Leopard. I'll see if I can get it to work. @Cooper I updated the plugin to have a longer timeout. Download and install again and see if that makes a difference. Also make sure you run the 'killall Front\ Row' command after you reinstall. @Antoine

Note that I'd periodically get this error before the latest Plex update, but now I get it always, or at least almost always.
